Attempting to study for Entrepreneurial Management had me a bore, therefore; I decided to set my studies aside and inundate my mind with interior decor instead - a much better choice. After perusing a must read interior design blog, COCOCOZY, I came across sheer ingenious. Take a look at the bedroom designs below and see for yourself.

Floral Design
I am currently enrolled in an advanced floral design class. I've fallen in love - to say the least. I didn't realize how enthralled I was with the material until last night. I went to a friend's birthday celebration where the room was decorated with floral designs and it just so happened I could name every type of flower in the room. Professor Lambe would have been proud.
Above is a mock web site I designed for the class. We are required to create our own floral firm. So with a little help from InDesign I whipped something up.
Very chic.

Handcrafted Flair
Etsy.com might just be my new favorite online hangout site. After perusing through several homemade items from throw pillows to handmade fabric flowers I fell in love. Thousands of designers gather together under one domain to share their love for creativity and craftsmanship. I first discovered this site when Emma + Ivy was created by two Lincoln designers. Since then they've launched their own website and have begun selling within boutiques around the star city.
The creator of this pillow used silk dupion to create the layout and then used ribbon embroidery to create the ruffles. This designer comes from Pune, India and is in favor of creating customized pillows to meet her consumer's needs.
Here are a few items I'm considering purchasing...

'Sew' It Begins
For Christmas I was graced with the presence of a Singer Esteem II sewing machine under the Larson family tree. Over the past year I've had a notion to pick up an estranged hobby, sewing. I am bound and determined in 2010 to get back to my old seamstress ways. With time on my hands and ideas at mind I might just become a sewing "machine" (pun intended).

J.Crew Exposes Their Fall Jewlery Collection
Vogue's Fashion's Night Out is taking place this week in NYC. To my surprise, I received an invitation to J.Crew's jewelry event this upcoming Thursday. J.Crew's jewelry designer, Lisa Finkelstein is giving guests an exclusive look at the fall jewelry trends to come. Filled with envy, I wish I could click my ruby red slippers and magically appear in Times Square. For those of you in the area I highly suggest you attend.
