J.Crew Exposes Their Fall Jewlery Collection

Vogue's Fashion's Night Out is taking place this week in NYC. To my surprise, I received an invitation to J.Crew's jewelry event this upcoming Thursday. J.Crew's jewelry designer, Lisa Finkelstein is giving guests an exclusive look at the fall jewelry trends to come. Filled with envy, I wish I could click my ruby red slippers and magically appear in Times Square. For those of you in the area I highly suggest you attend.

A Guilty Pleasure

Besides Sour Patch Candy, Jodi Picoult novels and J.Crew cashmere, Husker football is another one of my guilty pleasures. If you've ever been to Lincoln, Nebraska on a football Saturday you are sure to agree. The tradition is unforgettable and the Fairbury hotdogs are unbeatable. The start to a great season is among us. I've dusted off my favorite game day tee from last fall and recently purchased a couple of packages of Husker "N" face tattoos. Watch out world, the sea of red is about to unleash.

Fall on The Horizon

As August dwindles down, September brings forth new fashion. I find my inspiration from simplicity entwined with a bit of a kick. This wool pleated-silk chimera jacket from the ingenious designers of J.Crew captures just that.

Ruffles have made a strong comeback and this fall they are here to stay.
